Professional Biography

Aimee is a dedicated family law attorney whose practice is focused exclusively on domestic relations. With decades of experience, she is known for guiding clients through some of life’s most difficult transitions with a combination of practical advice, efficiency, and thoughtful advocacy.

Aimee represents clients across a full range of family law matters, approaching each case with an emphasis on problem-solving and the careful use of attorney fees. While she is a strong and effective advocate when necessary, she remains mindful that many clients will have ongoing relationships with former spouses, and works to preserve those relationships wherever possible.

She has practiced solely in domestic relations law since 1994 and has been with Taft since 1999. Aimee is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, reflecting her standing within the field.

Aimee has received extensive professional recognition, including listing in Best Lawyers in America for family law and family law arbitration, and selection to Ohio Super Lawyers. She has also received the 2015 “Top 10 Attorney Award for the State of Ohio” from the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, was named a “Member of the Nation’s Top One Percent” by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, and was recognized among the “10 Best Family Law Attorneys for Client Satisfaction in Ohio” by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys. Aimee earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University with distinction in 1988 and her law degree from Cornell Law School in 1993, with a concentration in advocacy. She is admitted to practice in Ohio and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
