Professional Biography

David Haselden is an attorney whose practice focuses on family law and personal injury litigation. He represents clients in a broad range of domestic matters, bringing experience from both private practice and public service to help individuals navigate challenging legal disputes with practical and effective advocacy.

David’s family law practice encompasses a variety of domestic relations matters handled through the South Carolina Family Court system. His experience in this area began early in his career while serving as an Assistant Public Defender in the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office, where he represented clients in both Family Court and the Court of General Sessions. He later expanded his practice in family law and personal injury litigation while working at Rosen Law Firm before joining Rosen Hagood in August 2024.

A native of York County, South Carolina, David attended Clover High School before earning a football scholarship to Clemson University, where he majored in Speech and Communications. David began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable James C. Williams, Resident Judge in the First Judicial Circuit, following his graduation from Charleston School of Law in 2007.

His professional recognitions include an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, selection to the South Carolina Rising Stars list from 2014 through 2020, and inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for Family Law (2025–2026).

David is admitted to practice in South Carolina and is an active member of the South Carolina Bar, the Charleston County Bar Association, and the Charleston Lawyers Club.

Outside of his practice, David is involved in various activities at First Scots Presbyterian Church.
