He later built a reputation for professionalism and leadership within the family law community, earning the Martin S. Goldin Family Law Award from the Middlesex County Bar Association in 2021. The award recognized his integrity, professionalism, and dedication to resolving disputes fairly before resorting to litigation. He was also named the Middlesex County Bar Association Young Lawyer of the Year in 2014 and has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2017.
In addition to his family law practice, Elliot brings a strong financial and business background to his work. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance, cum laude, from Montclair State University, where he played collegiate basketball and interned as a financial analyst at Smith Barney. He later earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where he was active in the Sports Law Society and became a FIBA-certified sports agent. Elliot is also an experienced real estate investor, and his understanding of real estate markets and financing structures often provides valuable perspective in complex family law and asset-related matters.
