Erika R. Scheideman is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Withers LLP. A Certified Family Law Specialist, Erika has focused her practice exclusively on family law matters since 2009. She provides legal services in the areas of asset and debt division incident to dissolution or legal separation, child and spousal support, complex custody litigation, including negotiation of three-parent custody arrangements and international move-away litigation, domestic violence proceedings, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, post-judgment modification proceedings and step-parent adoption.

Prior to Withers, Erika was a partner and chair of the family law practice of a Southern California-based private client law firm where she expanded the family law practice. Erika earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University. She is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the California Bar Association.

Erika has been recognized by Super Lawyers as an “Up-And-Coming 50 Women” and “Up-And-Coming 100” in Southern California in 2022-2024. She was also named a Rising Star from 2019 to 2024 and a Super Lawyer in Family Law for 2026. Erika has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in Family Law in 2026.
